The group of drugs called statins have been some of the biggest sellers in the UK in recent years, turning over £100M + across several companies and supporting 100s of medical sales roles.

There was a concern that the drugs may raise the chances of patients suffering from cancer, however, the new report dispels these fears stating there is no link between statins and cancer.

The news will be welcome relief to 100s in medical sales teams around the UK who have witnessed a dramatic shrinking of their industry in the last 24 months.
